VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was a long winter and the Optimist Club wanted to let all of the Valley City Public Works employees know how much the community appreciated their hard work and long hours following several snow removal days in the winter of 2019.

City Electrical Supervisor Marshall Senf accepted the Community Service Award from Optimist Club member Dave Carlsrud on April 25th at the clubs weekly meeting inside Vicky’s Viking Room in Valley City.

During the meeting, Senf talked about how much brighter the downtown business district will be once the new energy efficient lighting is installed during the current street improvement project now underway in Valley City.
