NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A popular off-Hollywood film is being shown this weekend that follows a white man being immersed in Native American life.
The film, Neither Wolf Nor Dog, is based off the book with the same name. The book and film look at the differences that exist between the societies. Film Director Steven Lewis Simpson says the film looks at various aspects, not just cultural differences.
The film was made on a limited budget with just a two-member crew. Simpson saws the small crew made this chaotic.
The film will be shown beginning on Friday, May 3rd at 7:30pm. The film will also show on Saturday, May 4th at 7:30pm and Sunday, May 5th at 2:30pm. The film will show at the New Rockford Center for the Arts Opera House in New Rockford. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Admission is $10 for adults and students will be $8.
