MOORHEAD, MN. (NewsDakota.com) – Moorhead Police are looking for a male suspect who robbed the Gate City Bank inside the Azool Hornbachers location at 950 40th Avenue South in Moorhead today.  Capt. Deric Swenson says that at approximately 5:40 pm a white male entered the business and handed the teller a note implying that he had a weapon and he asked for money.  The suspect did reach towards his waist band, suggesting he had a weapon.  Capt. Swenson said that the teller did hand over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.  The suspect then left the bank and headed south on foot.

Capt. Swenson says they will have two different videos to look at.  One from the Gate City Bank inside of Hornbachers.  And the video from Hornbachers itself.  No one was hurt in the robbery.  The suspect is still on the loose.

The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years of age, 5’10, with a normal build. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a darker color shirt under a denim long sleeve button up, and wearing a dark baseball style hat with a white logo.  If anyone has information related to the robbery they can contact the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at (701) 451-7660 and ask to speak to a Moorhead Police Supervisor.  Images of the suspect are shown below.
