JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Jamestown will be allowing the public to take the old garbage bins for their own personal use.
Originally, the city attempted to sell the old green containers, but couldn’t find a buyer. City Administrator Sarah Hellekson stated that they were looking to find a use for the old, green garbage containers.
The city announced that the containers will be available to the public at no charge beginning today. The containers cannot be used with the city’s new automated garbage trucks.
Containers can be picked up between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3 PM at the City Baling Facility located at 3020 18th Street SE.
Call the facility for further information at 701-252-5223.
