TAPPEN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Strasburg woman is dead following a rollover on I-94 North of Tappen Wednesday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that the 38 year-old woman was traveling eastbound on I-94 just before 8 AM when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the median. The driver steered back to the roadway and lost control.
The vehicle rolled and came to rest in the south ditch. She was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The Steele Police Department, Kidder County Sheriff’s Office, Kidder County Ambulance, Steele Fire Department, and Sanford Airmed assisted.
