JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Jamestown will resume garbage and recycling collection in alleyways beginning Monday, April 29th.
The city reports that City Sanitation crews and Recycle North Dakota crews will resume their collection after suspending the services in alleys. The city reported the decision came as changing weather and temperatures created extremely muddy conditions in the alleyways.
Residents are asked to place carts so arrows face the alley for automated collection. All materials must be inside the cart for the automated lift. Any materials on top or next to carts will not be collected.
Carts must be placed out for pick up by 7 AM. Trucks will not return to areas due to missed garbage placed out after the scheduled route has been completed.
