FESSENDEN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Carrington track and field team along with 25 other teams competed at the Lloyd Memorial Track meet on Tuesday, April 16th. Rugby won both the boys and girls division, Rugby girls scored 298 points, Carrington finished second with 169 and Harvey/Wells County third with 154. Rugby boys scored 139 points, Devils Lake 92 and Carrington 66.

Senior Payton Smith for Carrington won both the boys 1600 Meter (4:37.42h) and 3200 Meter (10:02.98h), Senior Amanda Jarrett won the girls 1600 Meter (5:30.06h). The Cardinals girls relay team won both the 4×400 (Addison Hoornaert, Marah Schmitz, McKenzie Johnson, Allison Jarrett, 4:33.08h) and 4×800 (Amanda Jarrett, Baylee Lura, Madison Johnson, Addison Hoornaert, 10:33.81h).

Next up for Carrington will be on Tuesday, April 23rd at Bismarck Shiloh.
