BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Even with the large amount of snow scattered across North Dakota, snow geese have settled in many parts of the state.
Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier reports that the snow geese have officially migrated back and they’re located all over.
Leier says for snow goose hunters, some may just have to step outside and others may have to do some tracking.
The other thing that starts this weekend is the Spring Turkey season, which kicks off Saturday, April 13th and runs through May 19th. Leier says they’re encouraging caution and courtesy when it comes to flooded areas in the state.
