TODAY: INCREASING SNOWFALL, INCREASING WIND. POOR TO DANGEROUS TRAVEL TO THE SOUTH. SNOWFALL FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST AND EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA, ALL OF MINNESOTA AND SOUTH DAKOTA. HEAVIEST SNOW WILL BE IN EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA INTO SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA, UP TO 24 INCHES. 12 TO 18 AT THE CORNER OF THE DAKOTAS AND MINNESOTA, TAPERING OFF AS YOU GO NORTH AND WEST FROM THERE. WIND WILL GUST TO 45 MPH, STRONGER TO THE SOUTH. NEARLY STEADY TEMPERATURES TODAY.
TONIGHT. SNOW, HEAVY AT TIMES AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS TO THE SOUTH. POOR TRAVEL EAST AND SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA, EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND ALL OF MINNESOTA. LOW IN THE UPPER 20S. WIND: TURNING NORTH 25 TO 35 MPH.
FRIDAY: SNOW CONTINUES INTO MID-DAY THEN SLOWLY TAPERS OFF, BUT CONTINUES INTO TOMORROW NIGHT. WIND SLOWLY DIMINISHING TO 15 TO 25 MPH LATE TOMORROW NIGHT.
