VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSUVikings.com)- Valley City State University junior Mackenzie Huber has been named the North Star Athletic Association Women’s Field Athlete of the Week after a pair of Top 5 finishes at the large Dordt College Invite on Saturday.

Mackenzie Huber – Valley City State (N.D.) – Junior – Clark, S.D. – Huber collected a pair of fourth-place finishes for Valley City State (N.D.) in the Dordt (Iowa) Invitational.  She tossed the shot put a distance of 12.51 meters (41 feet, .5 inches) and recorded a discus throw of 41.08 meters (134 feet, 9 inches). Huber’s shot put mark is the best in the North Star Athletic Association conference this season, and her discus throw is second-best in the conference.
