VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Inspirational speaker and recording artist Jane Dahl Emerson will deliver a spiritual message in an entertaining way on Friday, April 5th at 5:30pm during a salad supper at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City. All women are encouraged to attend this free event.

Emerson is a recording artist/speaker and seminar and bible teacher. She is a woman who juggles her singing, speaking, accompanying and being the wife of a busy Pastor. Jane grew up in Cottonwood, Minnesota. Her background and experience include traveling internationally as a soloist for a concert choir. She received her formal academic training at the Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has studied at Valley City State College in North Dakota and is a 1990 graduate of St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Emerson has always been active in her local church leading women’s bible classes and prayer groups. She has been soloist, choir director, accompanist, organist, and Sunday School Teacher. She is enthusiastic and energetic about sharing her own personal story, including how she was called to salvation after marriage and how God called her and her pastor-husband into full time Christian service.

Jane and her husband of 50 years have three adult children, Rev. Luke Emerson and wife Kelly of Lake Stevens, Washington, John and Rebekah Rowan of Park Rapids, Minnesota and Joshua and Lisa Emerson of Tampa, Florida. Including eight grandchildren.

Emerson has two musical recordings, “Walk in His Light” and “Moments Together” and has authored two women’s bible studies, “Accessorize Your Faith,” and “Women Imaging Christ.” It is her desire to faithfully serve the Lord and glorify him in all that she does. Jane and Pastor Curt live in Wadena, Minnesota where Pastor Emerson serves two churches Zion Free Lutheran AFLC and Bethany Free Lutheran AFLC.

The evening will start at 5:30pm Friday, April 5th with a salad supper. A free will offering will be accepted to cover the expenses of the evening. Emerson’s presentation starts at 7pm.
