VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a registered sex offender is working at 2323 114th Ave SE, Rogers, ND 58479.

Christopher Peters has been assigned high-risk level by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee. Peters is required to register for his lifetime. He was born in 1990 and is a white male, 6’05”, 270 pounds, brown eyes, brown hair.

Peters was convicted in Cass Co. Juvenile Court of Gross Sexual Imposition in 2002, Peters victim was a 5-year-old female.

In 2017, Peters was convicted in Barnes County District Court of Possession of Material-Sex Conduct by Minor. Peters had over 100 images of young naked girls in a file on his phone.

Christopher Peters is not wanted by law enforcement at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. Any use of this information to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender will result in prosecution.
