JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown will be suspending residential garbage and recycling collection in alleys beginning Monday, April 1st.
The city reports that sanitation crews and the North Dakota Recycling Center crews will not be collecting carts in alleys as the changing weather and temperatures are causing extremely muddy conditions in the alleyways.
“Until further notice, please place garbage and recycling carts on the boulevard no further than 3 inches from the curb on your scheduled pick up day,” the city states.
Carts should be placed before pick up at 7 AM. Trucks will not return to the area after the scheduled collection routes are completed.
Contact the city with any questions at 701-252-5900.
