VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2019 winners for the Barnes County Courthouse Walking Challenge was Team Smooth Snailing with 1056.72 miles logged over seven weeks.
Each year, Barnes County employees are invited to join the friendly competition to encourage health and wellness.
The teams consist of 5-6 members and the miles are averaged over the course of each week.
Time and intensity are equated to miles before reporting. Thirty-three employees competed for a traveling trophy and bragging rights.
