GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A slow and gentle melt continues across the Red River, Sheyenne and James River basins due to favorable temperatures and dry weather conditions.
The region will see high temperatures increase to above the freezing mark during the day and dip below freezing at night. Little to no precipitation is expected over the next seven days.
An updated thaw progress will be issued on Thursday, March 28th regarding the status of the snow melt and the impacts on future flood potential according to the National Weather Service.
