JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) has recognized the city of Jamestown with the Safe Drinking Water Act Certificate of Achievement.
Mayor Dwaine Heinrich says the NDDoH contacted the city to inform them that they had satisfied all applicable Safe Drinking Water Act requirements in 2018.
Mayor Henrich says the certificates are given to communities that have satisfied all applicable requirements.
Heinrich presented the certificate to Jamestown Water Department Superintendent Joe Rowell during the Public Works Committee meeting Thursday evening.
