JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Recent snow has renewed worries of spring flooding across much Eastern North Dakota.
National Weather Service Hydrologist Allen Schlag says that the chance of flooding has improved along the James River, but not by much.
Schlag says the farther south of Jamestown you go, along the James River, the greater chance there is of flooding.
The next flood prediction report is expected to be released March 28th, pending any changes in snow melt.
