EDGELEY, ND (NewsDakota.com) – More than 300 customers of Dakota Valley Electric Coop are without power due to heavy wet snow knocking down power lines.
Spokeswoman Lisa Heinert said the outages are on the west side of the system. She said Milnor, Wahpeton and Hankinson crews are working on outages and system issues on the east side of the system.
Meanwhile, the Sargent County Sheriff’s office said snow plows were pulled due to road conditions and near zero visibility.
Heinert said Dakota Valley Electric Coop customers should plan for an extended outage through this storm. If you have an outage place call 1-800-342-4671.
