VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hunter Education Safety classes begin on Monday, March 11 in Valley City.
North Dakota law requires anyone born after Dec. 31, 1961, to pass a certified hunter education course to hunt in the state.
Hunter education is mandatory for youth who are turning 12 years old. Children can take the class at age 11.
Classes will be held March 11,12,14,18 & 21 from 6pm to 9:30pm each night in the Rhodes Science Center on the campus of Valley City State University. You must attend all classes. For more info call Karl Helland at 840-8017.
