WYNDMERE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Today, at 8:46AM, the Highway Patrol responded to the call of an aircraft crash that occurred 15 miles west of Colfax, ND.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office and Wyndmere Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.
The aircraft was a Piper Cub PA 18 occupied by a pilot and 1 passenger. Both occupants received minor injuries from the crash. They were transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for treatment.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the incident.
