BISMARCK (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown High girls basketball team found themselves down 15 in the second half of their West Region quarterfinal game against Legacy, before they started their comeback. They cut it all the way down to three, before eventually succumbing 73-60 to the Sabers.
Courtney Peterson and Kameron Selvig paced the scoring with 16 and 15, respectively. But it was Katherine Horgan’s offense that helped spark the comeback. The junior had a 5-0 run herself.
Jamestown had it down to three with the ball but couldn’t get any closer. The loss pushes the Jays to a loser-out game against Williston at 6:15pm on 98.3 FM.
Legacy will meet Mandan in the second semifinal at 3:45pm on Friday afternoon.
