JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The bracket for the 2019 NAIA D2 Men’s Basketball National Championships in Sioux Falls, SD was released today and the University of Jamestown makes its return to the field for the first time since 2013.
The Jimmies (28-5) will open play Southeastern (Fla.) on Wednesday morning at 10:15 from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
They will be the No. 10 overall seed and finished just five voting points shy of jumping to a #2-seed. As a three-seed they will play the sixth-seeded Fire. Oklahoma Wesleyan is the top-seed in the Liston bracket with Jamestown.
Should the Jimmies win on Wednesday, they would have Thursday off, and play Friday morning at 8:30am against the winner of Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Indiana Tech.

Jamestown finished the regular season second in the GPAC and won the tournament championship with an 86-84 win on Tuesday night over No. 2 Morningside in Sioux City, for the second win in ten days against the Mustangs.
Morningside is the 4th-overall seed and will play Mayville State at 5:45pm on Thursday in the opening round.
