BISMARCK, N.D. (PrairiePublic) – Temperatures across North Dakota remain well below normal.
And it looks like it’s going to be this way for a while.

Abeling says February temperatures have definitely been below average.

Dangerous wind chills to 40 below zero will grip the state Friday night through Saturday morning. Wind chills are expected to worsen Saturday night through Sunday morning when widespread wind chills between 40 and 50 below will cover all of western and central North Dakota.
The next chance for accumulating snowfall in North Dakota will be Thursday night through Friday when 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected along and south of I-94.
