JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Carrington Representative has introduced legislation that addresses the supply of water from the Red River.
House Majority Leader Chet Pollert (R – Carrington) introduced a bill (HB 1320) that would allow cities in North Dakota to join the Red River valley water supply project without voter approval, under certain circumstances.
While there are a few other bills relating to the Red River valley water supply project, he believes his bill is not a complicated as the others.
This bill has not been scheduled for a committee hearing yet.
