JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Young Professionals of Jamestown (YPJ) are hoping to bring individuals to the community for a volleyball tournament, while also bringing in business to the area.

YPJ is a branch of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce that promotes growth and networking among other young professionals in Jamestown. YPJ member Lindsey Vogel.

Vogel says teams travel from Fargo, Bismarck, Minot, Devils Lake, and other states including Minnesota. She says there will be co-ed teams as well as men’s and women’s teams of 4’s and 6’s.

Vogel says thanks to the University of Jamestown, the Women’s Volleyball team and Coach Jon Hegerle donating their time and facilities, the tournament continues to grow.

Registration costs $125 per team with prizes for each division.
The annual volleyball tournament will be held March 9th and 10th in Jamestown at the Harold Newman Arena.
