Central Valley Health Offices to open at 10am on Monday, January 28th.
Late start for Monday January 28th
-Valley City Public Schools will begin 2 hours late
-Circle of Friends Preschool will open at 10am will run till noon. But the Afternoon classes will be scheduled as normal.
-Jamestown Public Schools and buses will be two hours late. All grade levels will begin at 10:30
-Pingree-Buchanan School and rural buses will be 90 minutes late. School starts at 10:00 AM. The Jamestown bus will begin loading at 8:30 AM and depart at 8:45 AM from TRAC.
-Valley City State University is delaying opening until 10 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 28. Classes and offices will resume as normal at that time.
-Ellendale School and Buses will be 2 hours late.
– Enderlin school and buses will be 2 hours late tomorrow, Monday, January 28, 2019
– St. Catherine’s School in Valley City School and Buses 2 hours late. No breakfast
– Barnes County North School and Buses 2 hours late
-Carrington schools 2 hours late, no rural AM buses
-New Rockford/Sheyenne schools 2 hours late
-Oakes Schools will be running 2 hours late
City announcements
– A Severe Weather alert has been declared for the City of Ellendale,PARKING RESTRICTIONS are in effect BEGINNING AT 11:00 PM ON January 27, 2019 and will remain in effect until Noon on January 28th.
– The City of Jamestown will initiate the full snow plowing program beginning 5 AM Monday. Crews will begin plowing emergency routes first. Following that, residential areas will be plowed at around 11 AM. Crews will continue to work during the night with the downtown district beginning at 11 PM. Downtown merchants and all public/private schools are asked to have their sidewalks shoveled by 9 PM Monday evening.
– South Central Human Service Center and the Jamestown Regional Child Support Office will delay opening until 10am
– Due to uncertain travel conditions and extreme cold temps projected for tomorrow morning, Two Rivers Activity Center will delay open by 2 hours until 7:00 am. Pool will open at 9:00 am
– Dickey County Offices and courthouse will open 1 hour late
