WEST FARGO, N.D. – Emerson Krank and Preston Anderson scored 20 seconds apart in the second period and Cole Nissen stopped all 13 shots as the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs beat Jamestown 4-0 in Boy’s hockey Thursday night in West Fargo.

Krank’s goal came at the 7:06 mark of the second period. It was Krank’s third goal of the season and gave the Mustangs the 1-0 lead. Anderson’s made it 2-0 with his third of the season at the 7:26 mark. Anderson would score his second of the night and fourth of the year with just under three minutes remaining in the period. Kade Peterson ended the scoring 2:35 later.

Jamestown had quality scoring chances the entire game, but could not get the puck behind Nissen. Riley Gerhardt made 40 saves for Jamestown who falls to 6-10-1 on the season. The Mustangs improve to 3-12-1.

Jamestown host Hazen/Beulah Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at John L. Wilson Arena. Sheyenne host Minot Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
