VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- At home for the final time this year, The Hi-Liners routed Fargo South and tied a school record for points in a dual. They topped The Bruins 81-0 and improved their regional record to 6-1.

Valley City was aided by 6 open weight classes but when facing competition they had 7 win via fall and a 6-4 decision by Cade Powers. Coach Aaron Larson was happy with his team’s showing

 

Next week, which is the final of the regular season, will be a busy one for The Hi-Liners. They wrestle their final two EDC duals of the year Tuesday and Thursday and then Friday wrestle Jamestown and Legacy in a triangular. Coach Larson says the team will need to find balance

 

Before the match the programs seniors and parents were honored. Two milestones were also recognized; senior David Peterson for 125th career win and coach Aaron Larson for his 100th dual win.
