VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Crews are trying to wrap up a portion of the permanent flood protection project on Main Street in Valley City, but the cold weather is hampering their efforts.

KLJ engineer Chad Petersen is the project manager. He had this update at last night’s city commission.

Petersen said the price of concrete will be lower to complete the street pour along main this spring. He said that section will have close this May for a couple of weeks to complete the project.
