JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Submitted) – The 2018-2019 Blue Jay Speech Team season has begun.

We currently have 25 students at the varsity level participating in the 14 events. On January 12, the team traveled to Valley City to compete against 21 class A and B schools, finishing with 1 state qualifier and the team finishing 5th overall. With only 1 week of practice, this is a great start to the season.

Humorous Interpretation –Alivia Hoke 4th

Impromptu Speaking – Cati Suckow 2nd

Radio Broadcasting – Madelyn Reinerts 4th

Speech to Entertain – Alivia Hoke 1st/state qualifier

Storytelling – Alivia Hoke 4th
