JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For 87 years, the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has held an annual banquet to recognize the previous year of honors and awards.
The chamber will hold the 88th Annual Banquet on January 24th to recognize area businesses and employees who have displayed superior customer service in Jamestown.
Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says they have multiple other awards that are given during the banquet.
Tickets are $40 and will be available through January 17th. Bivens says a limited amount of tickets will be available at the door.
2017 banquet award winners included Barb Lang as Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award; Deb Lee, recipient of the Above and Beyond Award; Warren Abrahamson, recipient of the Young Professional of the Year Award; and Stutsman Harley-Davidson, recipient of the Business of the Year award.
Bivens says they’re also looking for nominations for their annual Ag Woman of the Year award.
