MEDINA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man and young child were both injured after crashing 15 miles North of Medina Thursday evening.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says at around 5:30 PM, Addison Hofmann was traveling northbound on Stutsman County Road #68 when he failed to negotiate a curve at the crest of a hill. His vehicle drifted off the edge of the road and slid sideways before striking an approach.

The vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels in the Ditch. Hoffman, 27, was seriously injured and initially unresponsive when a motorist came upon the crash.

3 year-old Beckton Hofmann was suffered less serious injuries. Both were transported to the JRMC and Addison was later flown to a Fargo hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Daktoa Highway Patrol. The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and Medina Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.
