VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Would you like to have a summer concert series in downtown Valley City or not?

That question was posed to members of the Valley City Area Chamber by Annie Creek Events president Terri Dunwoody.

She said the events can be paid by sponsorships and vendor fee.

She said city’s who have join this event have seen an uptick with their downtown businesses.

Valley City Area Chamber Executive Director Kaye Vinje said the chamber will discuss the proposal at their next board meeting to see if there’s support from downtown businesses to move forward.

If approved Annie Creek Events would arrange weekly concerts in downtown Valley City for six weeks in the summer.
