JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Work continues to progress on the planned curbside only collection of garbage and recycling in residential Jamestown areas.

Jamestown Mayor Dwaine Heinrich stated that he’s appreciated all the work and response from city crews as they continue to gather information and create a plan to implement the new system. He also thanked the residents for their patience as the process continues.

Mayor Heinrich says along with that, residents need to wait until the plan is complete before moving their recycling and garbage bins curbside from the alleyways.

Jamestown began working on implementing curbside collection after crews expressed concerns of maneuvering specific alleys with city equipment.
