JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Jamestown was recognized recently during the National League of Cities convention in California.
The National League of Cities is a resource and advocate for the nation’s cities and their leaders. North Dakota League of Cities Executive Director Blake Crosby informed the Jamestown City Council that Jamestown was received an award during the national conference.
Crosby pointed out that Jamestown was the only city recognized for the 50 year milestone at the national conference.
Crosby thanked the city for their years of involvement with the National and statewide League of Cities.
Mayor Dwaine Heinrich accepted the award on behalf of the city.
