JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One of Jamestown’s dining spots has closed their doors.

Pita Palace Jamestown announced via Facebook Wednesday that they were closing the business to “move back home.”

“Everyone wanting to know why we left, it basically came down to wanting to move back home,” the post stated.

The business first opened their doors in July 2016 at 110 2nd Street Northwest. Owner Kyle Burkle originally opened the first Pita Palace in Williston, ND in 2012. He says he took an interest in expanding his business after opening a Pita Palace in Wyoming and Jamestown caught his eye.

“We had many loyal customers,” Burkle added. “[Some] came 2 or 3 times a week almost shockingly.”
