NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A public input meeting tonight will focus on improvements to US 281 from New Rockford to Sheyenne.

“The project consists of a major rehabilitation widening and hot bituminous pavement surfacing from New Rockford to Sheyenne and reconstruction of the roadway through the City of Sheyenne, intersection improvements at ND 15, and potential turn lanes/intersection improvements at 25th Street Northeast,” the NDDOT reports. “The meeting will provide opportunity for public input. Representatives from the NDDOT and Apex Engineering Group will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss your concerns.”

If unable to attend the Public Input Meeting, written statements or comments must be mailed by December 12, 2018 to Derek Anderson, Apex Engineering Group, 600 S. 2nd St., Suite 145, Bismarck ND 58504. The meeting will be held at the Ostby Hall on the corner of Main Street and Pleasant Avenue in Sheyenne, ND from 5 PM to 7 PM.
