JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Christmas trees in the Buffalo Mall and Stutsman Harley Davidson have different decorations this time of year.

Instead of memories, ornaments, garlands and more, the trees are decorated with the names of area children who would love to have a Christmas. These Angel Trees can be filled by anyone who would love to shop for a little girl or boy.

Major Tim Nauta says this is the last week families in need can get their child put on an Angel Tree.

Nauta says the names of the children along with their likes help you shop for that child.

Major Nauta pointed out that once you get done shopping, you’re encouraged to bring the gifts to the Salvation Army with the tag so the parents or guardians can wrap the gifts for the children.

If you have any questions about the Angel Tree Program or would like to ring the bell at a Red Kettle, contact the Jamestown Salvation Army at 701-252-0290.
