BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Another sign of a recovering economy.
Airline boardings in North Dakota Airports grew by nearly 9.5 percent from last October to this October.
State Aeronautics Commission director Kyle Wanner says year-to-date, boardings in 2018 are overall about 4-and-a-half percent higher than they were in 2017 – so far.
Wanner says the carriers are also pleased with the numbers.
For boardings in Jamestown, October saw a decline in Boardings compared to last year. An estimated 804 passengers boarded at the Jamestown Regional Airport, down 22% compared to the 12,162 boardings in October 2017.
For the year, Jamestown has boarded 10,050 total passengers for 2018.
