VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Heidi Heitkamp and Kevin Cramer are making their final campaign push across the state as both candidates encourage everyone to vote in the upcoming November 6th election.

The Heitkamp bus tour made a stop in Valley City to rally their supporters at the District and the Democratic headquarters on November 1st following a rally in Fargo earlier and another that evening in Jamestown.

Heitkamp was accompanied on the bus with former U.S. Senator Kent Conrad and former Congressman Earl Pomeroy. She and all the other North Dakota Democratic candidates plan to make a total of 20 stops now through November 5th.

Senator Heitkamp and Congressman Cramer are in a hotly contested race. The U.S. Senate Seat in North Dakota is a pivotal one for party control in Washington. Cramer has a ten percentage point lead in the latest election poll.
