JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown will present their rendition of Monty Python’s “Spamalot” November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the Reiland Fine Arts Center.
The Tony award-winner for Best Musical Comedy from 2005 is a musical comedy ripped off from the 1975 film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” Mike McIntyre is the Director of Theater at the University.
McIntyre says the show pays homage to the Monty Python brand of humor and is musical comedy at its broadest. He says a lot of work has gone into preparing for the production.
McIntyre also pointed out that the students who make up the show and orchestra are not all theater and music majors. He says it showcases the talents of the students at the University.
The show will be at 7:30 PM each night. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from the University of Jamestown Box Office by calling 701-252-3467 ext. 5435 or email tickets@uj.edu.

Shane Chandler as Arthur, Meggie Cronin as Lady of the Lake, Sterling Severson as Patsy, Hunter Carpenter as Robin, and Lancelot is played by Keith Braddock.
Dylan Ossachuk plays Galahad, Dane Jesse plays Bedevere, Kenady Hansen plays Historian and Guard No 1, while Mother is played by Jamie Czapewski.
The Laker Girls are played by Victoria Goodale, Rose Marcellus, Allison Galbreath, Sierra McKeever, ReeAnn Christianson, and Carly Fuhrman, while Concorde/God is Drayven Ayers. Amanda Arvay plays the French Taunter, while other taunters are Nate Swanson and Allison Galbreath. Ni Knight is ReeAnn Christianson, while Other Ni Knights are Jamie Czapiewski, and Sierra McKeever.
Riley Akervik plays the Black Knight and Herbert. Minstrels are Carly Fuhrman, Stephanie Jorritsma, Madisin Knutson, and Brenna LeMier. Nate Swanson plays Fred and Herbert’s Father.
Stephanie Jorritsma plays Tim, Brenna LeMier plays Sir Bors, Carrie Noel plays Brother Maynard and Brenie Rodriguez plays the Monk.
