ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The final day of the District 5 Class B High School Volleyball tournament was held on Monday with three matches, here are the results:

Lamoure/Litchvile/Marion 3-0 over Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (25-21, 25-15, 25-17)

The Loboes punched their ticket to the Region 3 tourney as they sweep the Rebels in the first match of the day. EKM ends their season at 16-15, LLM improves to 26-9.

Barnes County North over Midkota 3-2 (21-25, 15-25, 25-23, 25-15, 15-5)

The Mustangs had the 2-0 set advantage, but the Bison won the next three to secure a spot in the Region 3 tourney. BCN improves to 8-16 overall, Midkota ends their season at 10-17.

Oakes over Carrington 3-2 (25-20, 14-25, 15-25, 25-11, 15-6)

The Tornadoes were led by Junior Nicole Schmitz with 24 kills and won the district 5 title in the final match on Monday. Carrington was led by Kadyn Mehring with 19 kills. Oakes improves to 28-7, Carrington drops to 28-8.
