VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The permanent flood protection project on Main Street in front of the Rosebud Visitors Center is getting closer to completion but a week behind schedule due to the snow fall that hit Valley City two weeks ago.

However, City Administrator David Schelkoph said the contractor poured curb and gutter on Tuesday, October 23. He said the reopening of Main Street from Central Avenue to 5th Avenue NW is now tentatively set for the first week of November or earlier weather permitting.
