COLFAX, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Oakes High volleyball team has ended the 2018 regular season with a 25-7 record after a three sets to one loss Monday night to the Richland Colts.
The Colts (20-9) won by scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-21 and 25-19. Katlyn Erickson had a team high 10 kills, with eight apiece coming from Kaitlyn Wagner and Kennedy Flaa. The Tornadoes had a team high 11 kills from Nicole Schmitz.
Oakes next plays in the opening round of the Class B District 5 Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, October 25 in Ellendale as they face the Cardinals of Ellendale High. Oakes swept the regular season series.
