JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the Customer Service Award for October to Joey Cotton of the City of Jamestown.

“The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations,” the chamber stated in a release.

Joey’s letter of nomination stated:

“Joey Cotton is a professional and a southern gentleman. His mother taught him how to say please and thank you. On Saturday, April 28th I received exemplary, satisfying service from him at the baling facility. He inspected my pickup load, gave me thorough, understandable directions, assisted me and was kind. In my opinion he is the best City of Jamestown employee that I have encountered in 23 years of living here. Congratulations and thank you Joey.”
