LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After losing two games in a row to end September, the LaMoure-Litchville/Marion Loboes needed to win the last game of the regular season to reach the playoffs. Mission accomplished, 30-26 over Linton-HMB a perennial playoff team.

In the opening round of the playoffs they traveled to Mayville State to take on Larimore. After a 42-6 win over the Polar Bears, the Loboes now face number 1 Thompson. Head Coach Andy Delabarre says his team is confident and ready for the challenge ahead.

Thompson has been the number one ranked team in 9 Man Football since the the season began in August. And Coach Delabarre says they are number one for a reason and if his team is going to be the best, that’s who they have to beat.

It won’t take a perfect game, but coach Delabarre says if they are going to move on in the playoffs it will come down to defense and ball control.
