MEDINA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Oakes High volleyball team won their second contest in as many nights, this time with a three sets to one victory against Medina-Pingree/Buchanan Tuesday night.
The Tornadoes (25-6) defeated the Thunder by scores of 25-17, 25-19, 23-25 and 25-10. Oakes had a team high 19 kills from Nicole Schmitz to go along with three aces, while Jaida Seyer had a very balanced night with five kills with a team leading six aces.
The Thunder (15-13) were lead by Megan Moser’s nine kills, with Gracie Bohl earning four aces.
