OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High football team put up half a hundred points on their way to a 50-14 route over Four Winds in the opening round of the Class 9-Man playoffs Saturday at Cummings Field.
The Tornadoes scored on their first four drives, with Logan Sell scoring a pair of touchdowns. Sell finished the game with 12 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Garret Meehl had two passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns.
The Indians, who made their post-season debut, had six turnovers; five fumbles and an interception. Quarterback Keldon Keja connected on a two yard touchdown pass to Talin Redfox.
