JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 2019 Ag Energy Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, October 15th in Jamestown.
The Ag Energy Committee was established to promote and enhance good relations between the farm and business community. Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says the luncheon is hosted annually.
Jeff Haase is the Leader of Member Technology & Innovation for Great River Energy (GRE). Bivens says Haase will focus his chat on GRE’s conservation and energy efficiency programs.
Since 2010, GRE’s member cooperatives have saved nearly a billion kWh of electricity through their efficiency and conservation efforts.
“GRE operates an industry leading load management system with over 350 MW of summer control capacity,” the Chamber stated. “Jeff focuses on optimizing GRE’s program offerings and quantifying the benefits these programs bring to its members.”
Haase has a Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a registered Professional Engineer.
The luncheon is set for Noon on Tuesday, October 16th at the North Dakota Farmers Union Offices. Tickets are $10 for members and $12 for non-members.
