KULM, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Four students were injured after a bus rolled 3 miles North of Kulm Thursday evening.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that the bus was westbound on Highway 13 when it entered a curve to go toward Kulm. The wheels lost traction on a slushy road, causing the driver to lose control.

The bus then entered the east ditch where it rolled and came to rest on its roof.

“There were seven children ages 10 to 13 on the bus,” Sgt. Matthew Denault stated. “Four of the children were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The other three went home with their families and the driver was not injured.”

The crash remains under investigation.
